RUDY does not replace licensed professionals, government agencies, or emergency services. When specialized assistance is needed, we help connect people with the appropriate provider or organization.
Housing, Relocation & Renter Resources
RUDY helps individuals and families navigate housing-related needs, including housing searches, relocation resources, renter information, housing-program navigation, and referrals to appropriate agencies and organizations.
We help people identify options based on their own lawful needs and preferences, including affordability, accessibility, transportation, family needs, and other relevant factors.
Benefits, WIC & Family Support
RUDY helps people locate information and resources related to public benefits, food assistance, WIC, family-support programs, utility assistance, and other essential needs. RUDY does not administer WIC or determine eligibility. We help individuals understand where to begin and connect with the appropriate program or office.
Veterans Services
RUDY helps veterans and military families identify and connect with appropriate veteran-service organizations, benefits resources, community programs, and other support services. When specialized assistance is required, we refer individuals to the appropriate veteran-service professional or agency.
Health & Wellness Resources
RUDY helps individuals locate health and wellness resources, community clinics, preventive-care information, health-support programs, and appropriate referral services.
RUDY does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or mental-health care.
Education, Employment & Community Referrals
RUDY connects individuals and families with information and referrals for education, training, employment resources, financial-aid resources, youth and family programs, community organizations, and other opportunities that may support their next step.
Pet Resources & Pet-Friendly Housing Support
RUDY helps pet owners locate resources such as pet-food assistance, low-cost veterinary and vaccination programs, spay and neuter resources, emergency pet assistance, pet-friendly housing information, and other community-based pet resources.
RUDY is not an animal shelter or veterinary provider.
Notary Services
RUDY helps individuals locate notary services that may be needed for personal, housing, benefits, employment, and other documents. Notary services may also be offered directly by RUDY when available and provided by a properly commissioned Illinois notary in accordance with applicable requirements.
Professional & Community Referrals
When a situation requires legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or other licensed professional assistance, RUDY helps individuals identify appropriate referral options.
RUDY does not provide professional services outside the scope of the organization or the qualifications of its authorized providers.
